Baby Animal Days

My girls loved going to Baby Animal Days! Ava's favorite were the baby bears. They were so cute! Lyla seemed to just like everything! She wasn't scared to touch anything she could get her hands on. The poor animals were probably scared of my kids. Ava was holding one of the baby ducks and got a little scared and decided to throw it a few feet. :) We had a fun day! We were glad we got to spend it with Dad, Grandma and Grandpa Brown...Thanks for taking us.

Ava loved taking dance this year. She is super sad it is over. Her favorite movie to watch in the car while were driving is her dance recital. She is learning all the other groups dances, its so cute. Ava can't wait to start back up again.

Lylas 1st Birthday

There was no question that Lyla knew it was her special day. She had a little attitude about her thinking she was incharge! For her party we did the balloon thing. When you are a 1 year old whats more fun than a room full of balloons as big as you to play with. If Ava had her way she would of had a room full of hands everywhere. She told us that we should have a hand party because Lyla just loves to wave to everyone! That is why there are hands on Lylas cake, we had to do something with hands! Ava was pretty proud she got to design Lylas cake. The cake was a little scary at first with Lyla until she realized it was something really yummy for her to eat. We had a fun day. We went camping to Moab for Easter weekend with the Chadwicks, Johnsons, and Bentleys. It was so fun being out on the rangers all day and ejoying eachothers company. We got to enjoy some nice sunny weather (finally). The Easter bunny found his way out to Moab. He spoiled all the kids with a big Easter egg hunt and lots of other goodies. It was nice to get out of the house for a weekend, its been way to long since we left for a vacation! Thanks Zach for getting everything ready and making such a fun trip for us all to enjoy!

Ava's Dance Review

This was Ava's very first dance review!! She did such a good job! We were so proud of her. It was so cute watching her up on stage. She was not shy at all!!! Ava keeps asking me when she gets to perform again! I love how much energy she has. Good Job AVA!! We love you so much!

For Ava's birthday this year we decided to have a circus party! Zach went all out as usual and got the place all decked out! We had cotton candy, popcorn, mini corn dogs, foot long hot dogs, fries, funnel cake fries, pork sandwiches, and of course cake and purple ice cream. Ava's obsessed with PURPLE!! The kids had a blast. We had a face painter come who did the cutest stuff. Zach set up some little games for the kids to play. The favorite seemed to be the parachute game with all the balls! Ava definately got spoiled by everyone!!! Thanks to everyone for coming to Ava's party!! I can't believe she is 3. They grow up way too fast!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AVA WE LOVE YOU!!!

Ava Getting Ears Pierced

Ava decided for her Birthday she wanted to get her ears pierced. I told her if she wanted them she would have to pay the lady with all of her binkis! I was shocked she actually agreed to do it. So on our way to get them I told her to gather up all of her binkis and put them in a bag. After she got it all ready we headed to the mall. It was so cute seeing her so excited to go get them pierced. I thought when we got there she would freak out and not want to give the binkis away but she handed her the bag and sat right down. She was a pretty good sport through the whole thing she only cried for a minute right after. I don't think she thought it would hurt! :) As far as the binkis went it was a little tough that day getting her to go down for her nap! She tried stealing Lylas once and after that she hasn't mentioned them again! Thank goodness for earrings, I thought I would never get rid of those binkis!! Good Job Ava! She looks so cute and grown up with her earrings!!

Santa Claus

The last two years we have gone to the country club to see santa. Ava has been hysterical both times. I wasn't sure what to expect this year. When we got there she was a little hesitant at first and made me sit on his lap with her. After that she was fine and wanted to sit all by herself. I was very happy not to hear the screaming this year! I think Lyla is still a little young to really know so we made it through with no tears!!!

Princess's On Ice

My dad got us tickets to princess's on Ice. We made it a fun girls night out. We went down with my mom and sister and her little girl. We went and had dinner at gateway before the show started. Ava and Halle looked so cute in the dress up clothes my mom brought for them to wear. They had such a fun time. The seats were great we were on the 3rd row. It made a big difference being so close. Ava actually sat really well and was amused throughout the whole show. Thanks Grandma for the fun girls night out and for always spoiling us!!!

Maybe next year I wont be a party pooper and Ill dress up with the rest of the family. Zach is looking super hot as a cowboy! That shirt is the ugliest thing ever!!!

Lyla was worn out! The lion costume worked out great! She's not the best at keeping the binki in all by herself! We had a great Halloween! Ava was fun this year. She was all about getting lots and lots of candy! If she had it her way that would be the only thing she eats!!

So Ava got this fun pudding idea from watching Jon & Kate Plus 8. It was so funny because she insisted she did everything that the kids were doing. She thought it was super fun being all messy!!! When she was all finished painting herself she had to have Zach spray her off with the cold hose just like they did on TV. It was too cute!!

Ava started dance class in September. It is one of her favorite things to do. She loves going to "teacher Ruth" She asks me every day if she has dance. It has been way fun watching her progress and its also a nice little break for mom!

For Zachs Birthday we went up to Bear Lake and stayed at my aunts cabin. The weather wasnt the greatest but we still had a great time. Friday we spent the day out on the Lake. Boating was a little hard with the wind and choppy water but we still had a fun time just being out there in the lake. Saturday we went on a rhino ride up to the sinks and did a really cool trail. Thanks to John and Shea, Jo and Frank for coming and spending Zachs Birthday with us. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZACH LOVE YOU!!!

Millville Canyon

We headed up Millville Canyon for the afternoon with the Chadwicks. We had a great time. Ava loves being around all of the kids. She especially loves Lukey! As you can see from the kissing pic. Cache Valley Fair

Ava loved the fair this year. My dad got hooked up with unlimited ride passes so we spent a lot of time over at the carnival. Ava loved going on all the kid rides. She wasn't tall enough to go on any so I would have to just hold her so they wouldn't notice. :) They noticed on a few and she was very upset she couldn't ride the little roller coaster. She kept saying " mom I'm too little to go on that, dang it!!" It was so sad it reminded me of when I was always too short to go on the rides at lagoon! I think it was probably til I was about 14 or so before I passed for all the rides! Ha Ha

Alpine Cabin

For my birthday Zach planned a trip up to the cabin with the Sparrows and Latimers. We had so much fun! The kids all played so well together it hardly seemed like they were even there. We went on a lot of rhino rides and the scenery was so pretty. Latimers took there boat up so we were able to boat as well. The lake was smooth as glass which made the surfing perfect. Zach did a great job at putting everything together, cooking all the meals, doing all the grocery shopping and making sure we all had a fun time! Thanks hun for the great birthday. It helped me forget how old I am! The big 29, next year will be a sad one!

Providence Canyon

For family night we decided to take a ranger ride up Providence Canyon to cook some hot dogs and smores. It was so pretty up there. I got a little scared driving up there because I ran over a rattle snake, I HATE SNAKES!! Thanks to Zach for going back and making sure it was dead by driving over it and over it! We had a great time! Ava was so cute watching her roasting her hot dog and marshmellows. She thought she was so neat. Everyone made sure to stay out of her way since she thought you were supposed to swing the stick all around! She did a super good job for her first time doing it all by herself. Sweet Grandma Jo even offered to eat the marshmellow Ava cooked after she saw how dirty it was being drug all over the dirt! Ava told her "No It's too dirty, you can't". Lyla was a sweetie she just loved being outside and watching everyone! Thanks Zach for getting it all ready, we had a fun time!

I finally am getting around to actually blogging my own pictures now! Thanks to my sweet sister for taking care of me and blogging picutures of the new addition to our family! Baby Girl Brown is finally here! She was born at 8:40AM this morning, weighing 6lbs 12oz and 19 inches long. Zach says that she looks a lot like her big sister. Bobbi and the baby are doing well and they are still trying to decide between Lyla and Lola for her name.
Ava was so cute this morning. While we were all there waiting she kept saying that they were going to get "her" baby out with scissors. After they brought the baby out to the nursery so that we could see here through the window, Ava wanted her so bad. She just kept saying, "I want to hold her. I want to go see her." It was pretty dang cute. She is going to be a very good big sis! We are so excited for you guys! We love you! CONGRATS!!!

We headed up to Hardware Ranch with the Chadwicks after church today. We had a great time. It was a really nice day and it was so good to just be outside. Ava always loves playing with the kids. She's a little obsessed with the Chadwick fam. The kids all had a blast. They loved looking at all the elk and making animal tracks in the sand. Their favorite seemed to be the wagon ride. Ava kept yelling to all the elk saying "Hello, oh my heck." She kept calling them reindeer, it was cute. She was a little upset we wouldn't let her "hold them." We had a fun afternoon.

We went down to Vegas to visit Zach for the weekend while he was working. Ava got to spend a day with her cute cousin Sienna. They are two weeks apart so it's always fun to get them together. We went over to a ranch by their house and let the girls play. They loved looking at all the animals and had a blast chasing the geese around. They were so cute. I wish they lived closer so they could see eachother more. Thanks to Quinn and Megan for the fun time, we love seeing you guys.

Cabin...Fun In The Snow

Ever since I was little my favorite thing to do was to go up to my grandparents cabin in the winter time. We would have so much fun snowmobiling, sledding, and just hanging out. We decided since it had been about 10 years since anyone had gone up in the winter time that we were going to bring back the winter traditions at the cabin. It was seriously like old times. It was so much fun. It is so nice to just relax and not have anything to worry about. Ava loved riding on the snowmobiles and of course was obsessed with sledding. Everytime she would go down the hill she would say "Again 10 more times" It was so cute. We had so much fun being with my family. The boys definately broke in the snowmobiles and had a fun time going out shooting Zach's gun. Thanks everyone for coming and for the fun relaxing trip. I definately got a lot of sleep in!

We had a great Christmas this year. Ava was so much fun to watch. It's fun when they actually get into opening their presents and are way excited. Santa got her a cute tent that she loves. She likes to watch all her movies from inside the tent through her little window. It's pretty cute. Ava definatley got spoiled she loves all of her new toys. I love Christmas time, it's always so much fun to spend time with family.

I can't believe that Ava just turned 2. She is growing way too fast. For her birthday we thought it would be fun to have a balloon party. Zach loves to always go all out for special occasions. We blew up about 800+ balloons and had them scattered all over the basement for all the kids to run around in. They loved it. (I on the other hand am still recovering from swollen fingers from tying them. :) ). Zach hired a clown to come and make the kids balloon animals, they turned out super cute and was a big hit. The pinata was funny to watch the kids do. I think they are still a little to young to actually break it open. Thanks to Uncle Trev who had no problem breaking that thing open. Ava loved being able to be with her friends and family. Thanks to everyone for coming and celebrating Ava's special day! Thanks to Zach for being such a fun dad and a great husband!

We went to Oahu with our friends John and Shea. We stayed in Ko Olina at a Marriot resort. We had so much fun. It was a little hard for me to leave Ava for a whole week but I survived. We went over and got to see Pearl Harbor. That was fun but also made you a little sad seeing everything that went on. We hung out at Waikiki beach a lot. It was fun being able to just chill and not have to worry about anything. Zach and John spent most of their time body surfing while Shea and I just layed out and watched our hubbies torture themselves with those huge waves. They actually were pro's by the end of the week. One of the days the boys went out in the ocean and went scubba diving. Zach said it was way cool. His favorite was being able to see the sea turtles. Our favorite beach we went to was the North Shore. They were having a pro surf competition going on while we were there so we were able to watch that. It was crazy seeing them surf on those big waves. They made it look so easy. That day we actually decided to go and take surf lessons. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. It was so much fun!!! We went and did a session at the Honolulu temple while we were there. It was so beautiful. It was crazy to see how much smaller it is than the Logan temple. You actually walk through the baptismal font room to get to the waiting room for the session. We had a neat experience, I'm glad we were able to have that opportunity. Hawaii is Gorgeous we were able to do a lot of site seeing which was really cool. I could go on and on about our trip but I'm sure that would bore everyone so I will just stop now. Thanks John and Shea for making such a fun trip we definately will have to go back. Thanks to my mom and Zachs mom for keeping Ava and taking such good care of her!

For family night we went over to Shane and Anjie's house to carve pumpkins. We had a ton of fun. Ava loved coloring on her pumpkin. She also liked eating the top of Zach's pumpkin lid. She thought it was an apple, it was funny. Zach sure carved a cute pumpkin for Ava.

Paradise Halloween Fun

We thought it would be fun for the kids to head out to Paradise to go to this little Halloween thingy ( I have no clue what they call it). We went with my sister, Bowen, Halle, and my mom. It was decorated so cute! They had a tractor that pulled a wagon around a field full of Halloween stuff. They also had a little kids train ride to go on to look at all the fun stuff. I of course had to go on with Ava because I was afraid she would jump out while it was moving. Zach was making fun of me for going on the "little" kid ride. I guess you have to make those sacrifices for your little ones. We had a fun night out with the fam! For all of you who have little kids it is way cute, you should take them out there.

Ava was tearin it up on her little blow up slide. She loved it. We had a neighborhood barbeque party at our house and Zach thought it would be fun to have it be a water party for the kids as well. He went and got a slip n slide, put the sprinkler under the tramp, and got a ball sprinkler toy. The kids had a good time. They were all freezing cold by the end so Zach let them sit in the hot tub. We had a total of 16 kids in there the oldest being 8. I made Zach drain if afterwards, I thought that was a little too much dirtiness for my liking. :)

This is a picture of my good friend Shea and my sweet little Ava. Shea is pretty much Ava's 2nd mom. Shea is serioulsy such a great friend. I am so greatful that I have had the oppurtunity to get to know her and become such good friends with her. I really don't know what I would do without her. She has helped me out so much with Ava and is always there for me no matter what! I was glad that this picture was the one that I got to post. It's a good little advertisement for Shea. She is opening up a clothing-shoes-bags-bows boutique here in Logan. She will be opening up next week. Her store will be called Pulse Clothing. She will be located in the Coppermill Emporium. Lake Powell

We went camping in the trailers to Lake Powell for the week with a bunch of our friends! The weather and water temperature couldn't of gotten any better, it was perfect! We had a great time going on boat tours through the canyons, wake surfing, water skiing, tubing, relaxing in the water, and hanging out. Ava had a blast. She loved hanging out with all the little kids. She has been so easy to travel with she's always up for adventures with us. We couldn't ask for it any better. Lake Powell will definately be a new yearly tradition. Thanks everyone for coming! Thanks to Zach for arranging everything and making it all so perfect!!!!

Zions National Park & Pool

We decided to head up to Zions while we were at St. George. It is so pretty there. We had a good time just walking around and watching Ava look at the elk. She thought they were pretty cool. After we headed to the pool to let Ava play. She was so obsessed with that little slide. I bet she went on that thing about 50 times. We had a great time in St. George. Happy Anniversary to my sweet hubby. I feel so lucky to be married to him. We have had a great 5 years together.

Sand Hollow

We took off to St. George for the weekend to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We took the boat out to Sand Hollow and just enjoyed hanging out in the water. Ava loved floating in her noodle and of course jumping off the back of the boat to dad over and over again.

Jack Johnson

I Will have to say that the Jack Johnson concert was one of the best concerts I've been to. I have always loved his music, but now after seeing him it makes it even better. I kind of have a little crush on him now, I think he is super hot! Zach and I kind of lucked out with getting to see him. My cousin and his wife had tickets and she ended up having to go on bed rest, so they were so sweet and thought of us. The seats were awesome, we had pitt passes so we were super close. Thanks to Shane and Anjie for the tickets. We had a great time. We are also glad that everything is ok with Anjie and her baby!

Boating At the Palisades

For Zachs birthday we headed up to the cabin. We thought it would be a little more relaxing if we left Ava at home so it was just a grown up trip. (I was sad the first part without her, but then realized it is a good break. ) Our friends John, Shea, Andy, and Jenny came with us. We had so much fun. We took our boat along with us. The lake was amazing. I have never in my life boated on a smoother lake. It was pure glass the whole day. It was so fun just hanging out, surfing, tubing, and of course piggin out. We also enjoyed a day of fun rhino riding. We rode up to an old gold mine and went on some other trails. I have those pictures posted below. It was also so relaxing just sitting around talking at night, and playing games! Happy Birthday to my sweet husband. Thanks everyone for coming.

Camping At the Sinks

We went up to the sinks to go camping with the Chadwicks. It was so much fun. We were able to go play at the beach for a couple hours. Go on some Rhino rides. Ava was so cute with her little friend Luke. They are a couple months apart. She kept laying on his shoulder the whole ride, it was so funny. We enjoyed tin foil dinners, smores, and most of all good company. We will definately be going back there to camp. It is so beautiful. Thanks to the Chadwicks for the great time!

Cabin... All over Again

We headed up to the cabin again. This time we went up to do some remodeling. Zach wanted to update it a little so he decided to go all out. He tore out all the carpet in the bathrooms, kitchen, and dining room and put in purgo floors. It looked so good when he finished. ( I will post some pictures of all the changes). After doing that my parents showed up and they helped Zach stain the deck and also screen in the patio. There is always a million misquitos in the summer so he thought it would be a good idea to have a place to hangout without getting attacked. We were able to enjoy a nice dinner out on the patio after all their hard work. My grandparents came up to see all the changes. My grandma has not been up for two years due to her seeing a couple mice the last time she was there, so it was nice for her to actually come and enjoy everything. They loved the new changes. It's so nice to have such a handy man who can do all those things. I appreciate all the hard work Zach did for the cabin. We had a great time! Thanks everyone for all the hard work, it looks awesome!

Ava Bowen & Halle

Today we went and watched Bowen at his swim lessons. He did such a good job, he is so dang cute. After we got done we decided to go to Aleisha's and let the kids cool off. Ava loves playing with her cousins we are so glad they live so close. We had a fun day thanks for letting us play!

Cabin 4th of July

For the 4th of July we went up to my grandparents cabin in Alpine Wyoming. We went with Zach's family. His dad was turning 70 so we thought it would be a fun get together to celebrate his birthday. We had a great time just hanging out, rhino rides (rode up to an old gold mine), going to the Jackson rodeo and fireworks, campfires, bridge jumping, playing nightly uno (I of course won) making a log raft for the kids to ride in the lake, and most of all just enjoyed eachothers company. Boating At Hyrum

We finally managed to make it out on the boat this summer. Boating is one of our favorite things to do in the summer. We love wake surfing. Ava loves to get in the water and stand on the surf board. Dad thinks he needs to teach her how to do it. Funny enough we managed to not get any pictures of us actually in the water. Maybe next time ill get better pictures. We had a fun night at the lake. Ava Loves being on the boat. She has sour patches stuffed in her mouth, she was eating them all night.

Today was so hot outside so I thought it would be fun to set up Ava's little pool. Ava's cousin Sienna is in town from Vegas so she came over to play. They are two weeks apart so its really fun to have them play together. Poor Ava looks so small compared to her, look like she's following in her moms footsteps. They had so much fun playin together. They weren't really too interested with the pool they wanted to run around and climb on their chairs. We had a fun day, were glad Sienna is in town.
